Everyday Flower FAQ

How do I care for my flower arrangement?

To keep flower arrangements looking fresh and vibrant for as long as possible, follow these tips:

  • Change the water in the vase every 2-3 days.
  • Recut the stems at an angle before placing them in fresh water. This helps to ensure that the flowers can take up water effectively with the most surface area. 
  • Keep the flower arrangement out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources, as both can cause the flowers to wilt more quickly.
  • Certain flower types last longer than others! As individual flowers wilt, remove themfrom the arrangement to prevent more wilting.
Can you deliver to a business address or hospital?

Yes! Please leave specific delivery instructions if the order is going to a business or an office space, as well as the business’ operating hours, if necessary. 

We make regular deliveries to the hospital and appreciate it if you can provide the specific ward or room number for the recipient, which will help the hospital staff in locating the correct destination.

What time do you deliver?

We can deliver same-day if your order is placed before 11am. Our deliveries go out between noon and 4pm. Delivery times vary based on our driver’s route, the recipient’s distance from our shop, and adverse weather in the winter. While we cannot guarantee a specific delivery time, please leave a message in the order notes or give us a call so we can do our best to accommodate.

What happens if the recipient isn’t home when you deliver?

On the scheduled delivery day, we will text the recipient to let them know a flower delivery is coming their way. If they aren’t home when we arrive, we will leave a note on the door instructing them to call and reschedule the delivery. If a second attempt is made unsuccessfully, we are unable to reschedule again. In which case, a pickup from our store will be arranged. Due to the delicate nature of flowers, we are unable to provide refunds or replacements beyond this stage.

Are you able to deliver to the canyon?

We deliver to the Canyon spring through early fall. Once the weather starts getting snowy, we unfortunately stop delivering as the roads get dangerous and there's a lack of cell phone service.

Prix Fixe FAQ

Why can’t I make customizations?

Our Prix Fixe items are carefully crafted and priced to offer a balance of quality, style, and affordability. To maintain these standards and keep the process efficient, we are unable to offer customizations for these particular items.

By focusing on certain color palettes and products, we can ensure quick turnaround times and consistent quality for all customers. However, if you have specific customization requests, we encourage you to explore our full service option, where we can work with you to create a unique and personalized product tailored to your preferences.

What can I expect during the pickup process?

Your order will be packed up in boxes and ready to load into your vehicle by 9am on the day you selected (10am for Saturday pick-ups). All bouquets and arrangements will be in vases to ensure a constant water source until they’re needed. If you are picking up ahead of the event date, some items might require water replenishment, which we will go over in person. Any mechanics needed (like zip ties for arch pieces) will be provided.

Weddings & Events FAQ

How do I get a price estimate for my wedding flowers?

When you fill out our full service questionnaire, our event coordinator will reach out with a basic mood board based on your information, as well as pricing estimates to give you an idea of what most clients spend per item. If you like what you see and decide to book with us, we will schedule a consultation so that a detailed mood board and itemized proposal based on your vision can be created. From there, we can make revisions and discuss pricing and specifications in depth.

How far in advance should I book your services?

Dates fill up fast in Big Sky Country. We recommend checking availability around 6-9 months before your wedding date. While we’ve done full service weddings with less than a 3 month turnaround, it’s not ideal. We want to make sure you get all the perks that come with this package, like custom mood boards, revisions, and consultations, so we highly recommend reaching out once you have your date, venue, and photographer secured.

Why is there a minimum for the Full Service package?

To ensure that we can maintain the high level of quality and service, we have implemented a minimum budget for our full service offering. This minimum serves several important purposes:

  • Quality Assurance: Wedding flowers require meticulous attention to detail, the use of fresh, high-quality blooms, and skilled craftsmanship. By setting a minimum, we can allocate the necessary resources and time to create arrangements that meet our high standards.
  • Dedication to Your Event: We want to devote our full attention to your wedding day, ensuring that every detail is perfect. Setting a minimum helps us manage our workload and guarantee that your flowers receive the total care and attention they deserve.
  • Cost Efficiency: Many aspects of creating wedding flower arrangements involve fixed costs, such as transportation, labor, and setup. By setting a minimum, we can distribute these costs more evenly across larger orders, allowing us to offer competitive pricing.
  • Design Cohesion: Larger orders provide more opportunities for our floral designers to create cohesive and visually stunning arrangements that truly elevate your wedding decor. This curation takes lots of time, care, and research!

While we understand that every wedding is different, we believe that our price minimum helps us provide you with the best possible service and results. If your budget and needs are smaller, we have our Prix Fixe menu as a wonderful alternative.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes! While it takes extra time and planning, we love seeing our designs in brand new venues and climates. Our passports are ready to be stamped, with our floral magic and tools in tow! Reach out to Kate to get the ball rolling.

What is your policy on substitutions if certain flowers are unavailable on the wedding day?

Due to the unpredictable nature of the floral industry, which can be susceptible to unforeseen weather conditions, changes in availability, and travel difficulties, we don’t like to promise certain flowers. We do, however, take your style and preferences into great consideration when hand selecting flowers. In the event that certain flowers are unavailable on the wedding day, we make every effort to find suitable alternatives that maintain the overall aesthetic and color scheme, while ensuring that the substitutions are of equal or higher quality. If there is a specific flower that you’re set on, please let us know, and we will make note of it.
